The ¨Feather¨ Pendant - Model 3
The ¨Feather¨ Pendant - Model 3
Inspired by the fleeting beauty of Japanese spring, the "Feather" Pendant explores lightness, movement and serenity through a delicate composition of translucent materials and organic forms.
The collection traces its origins to Aomori, Japan, where the traditional Nebuta lanterns first informed an exploration of light and material. Early experiments incorporated washi paper and Japanese natural lacquer, gradually evolving into a distinctive technique of layering fine textiles and fibreglass. Though production has since moved from Japan to Spain, the collection retains the craftsmanship and sensibility of its origins.
Its softly curved silhouette evokes the delicacy of a falling petal, while subtle irregularities reveal the presence of the human hand. Suspended in space, the pendant responds to the slightest breeze with a gentle, almost imperceptible movement.
Each petal is individually cut and shaped by hand, combining Japanese paper with a proprietary fibreglass technique. The resulting surface reveals an intricate network of fibres that becomes visible as light passes through it, casting a soft, diffused glow and inviting closer observation.
This particular layout was first introduced in Milano's design week 2025 and was inspired in the first flowers to bloom at the end of winter as the entire show was an ode to change and movement.
