The ¨Feather¨ Floor Lamp Model 2

Inspired by the fleeting beauty of Japanese spring, the "Feather" lamp explores lightness, movement and serenity through a delicate composition of translucent materials and organic forms.

The collection traces its origins to Aomori, Japan, where the traditional Nebuta lanterns first informed an exploration of light and material. Early experiments incorporated washi paper and Japanese natural lacquer, gradually evolving into a distinctive technique of layering fine textiles and fibreglass. Though production has since moved from Japan to Spain, the collection retains the craftsmanship and sensibility of its origins.

This floor lamp extends Kilzi’s Feather collection through an exploration of lightness and material contrast. Standing 150 cm tall, the piece brings together a shade composed of different fibres and a stainless steel body, balancing the delicate character of the shade with the quiet strength of metal.

Light filters through the fibrous surface, revealing its intricate texture and giving the shade a soft, luminous presence. The steel introduces a measured architectural element, grounding the composition while allowing the shade to remain its expressive centre.
